Donald J. Trump learned fiscal responsibility from his parents, in school, and while building his business in general contracting. Did he make mistakes? I expect he did. Did he fiscally survive? Over the top. President Donald J. Trump trusted the American people with our own money, our own health decisions, choices for our children's education, to be honest when paying our taxes, our ability to work and make our own living, etc. I confess that before President Trump and since President Reagan, I had lost all hope of our federal government ever being financially solvent again, but with Trump's vision and approach I sensed a glimmer of hope.
Our present President of the United States (POTUS) has doused and squashed that hope in me from his first day in office and even to the present day continues to push disastrous policies that can be best described as American Socialism First, which, juxtaposed against President Donald J. Trump's America First policy is best named Biden's America Last policy. I suppose a 40-year career in politics has not endowed him with fiscal responsibility nor helped him to feel for the average working American. "Necessity,” someone has said, "is the mother of invention.” Perhaps not knowing necessity beyond the casting about of numbers has ill prepared this POTUS for this position.
"Judge not that ye be not judged, for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged and with what measure ye meet, it shall be measured to you again." (Matthew 7:2) We are not to judge people because to their own master they stand or fall, (Romans 14:4) but we are to judge things as in I Car. 2:15, "he that is spiritual, judgeth all things”' We are to judge things and we cannot plead exemption. We are to judge things that are invented, things that are said, things that are heard, felt, smelled, tasted and those things we call policies. Including PR ramblings that consist of word salads or simply a skirting and refusal to answer questions.
The "America Last" policies have opened a Russian pipeline to Germany while shutting down the Keystone pipeline here in the Midwest. The "America Last" policy has majorly relinquished control of the southern border to human and drug smuggling cartels while releasing illegals all across the country (red states?) without COVID testing and while pushing useless maskings, proofs of vaccinations, and the firing of the unvaccinated upon legal citizens. Are vaccine passports next? Now there is a push to bestow bank account access powers to the revenue collecting agency responsible for taxing our incomes to make sure all "pay their fair share” (Note the "their.") It sounds like maybe a politician with foreign connections to money through a son will not be subjected to possible IRS raids. Meanwhile there is a push to federalize elections while pushing to "pack the court."
The "America Last" policy continues with the Afghanistan debacle and saying nothing while "the Squad" condemn Israel for defending itself. And the silence continues as Chinese Uighurs are penned into "schools" for political reconditioning. And while Cubans cry out for help to escape the heavy yoke of Communist Totalitarian oppression. And now we hear reports of Chinese Communist Party killings and organ harvesting for profit. The silence from our POTUS is getting deafening. While his mind-numbing support for the LGBTQ agenda seals God's judgment of who this man really is. We are to be discerning about right and wrong and yet leave final judgment of people, (including calling anyone a fool) to God who is always truthful, honest, and just. But when God calls a person a fool we had best pay attention lest we also become one. In the context of gender confusion, in Romans chapter one God has this to say in verse 21, "Professing themselves to be wise they became fools.” The present POTUS has many times revealed his own gender-confusion. Given that God calls out such a person as a fool we can cease to wonder at the foolish meanderings of this administration. Let us pray for repentance and the saving power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through His finished work. On the cross. Life Matters!
