As we stand on the exit threshold of today gazing wistfully into a hopefully post-COVID future going back to normal, our hopeful wistfulness may well be tainted with more than a hint of trepidation as we hear the mostly incoherent rumblings from the planning rooms of tomorrow. Or, taking center stage at the White House as viewed from the south lawn where President Biden hosted a “Pride” event celebrating the multi-letter-gendered perversions of the “Woke” mob. Whose multi-bright-colored flag was displayed front and center between two American flags spread-out, suspended from the curved roof beams of the balcony protecting the ground-level entrance opening to the interior grandeur of the temporary while-in-office residence of every United States President since John Adams in 1800.
The insult to the American flag was obvious. As was the insult to decency on full display at the perverted casual event. Where a transgender “female” supposedly “inspired” by his/her shirtless girl/boy comrades and on a high of emotion (we assume that’s all) bared his/her silicone breasts to the camera for all to see. He/she was then removed from the event but the sodomite spirit was not only allowed to stay, but continued to be celebrated. Our President had given his perversion-motivating speech from a podium with a multi-bright-colored striped wall for a backdrop. The shirtless males (we assume they were males) were allowed to stay as celebrating all manner of Bible-condemned perversions continued to embarrass the office of U.S. President and all decent Americans to the world at large while grieving God.
Prime Minister of Canada, Trudeau, was embarrassing himself and his country as well as he led a “Pride” parade through the streets of Ottawa with a little “rainbow” flag flapping from one hand. Except it wasn’t a rainbow but merely a multi-bright-colored flag representing the multi-letter-gendered confusion of the post-modern Woke mob who either openly reject the Bible or openly reject the plain text, reading what they want into it, including but not limited to, unspeakable blasphemies. A flag with variegated shades of darkness would better represent those deceptions. The colorful rainbow belongs to God as He said, “I do set my bow in the cloud and it shall be for a covenant between me and the earth.” (Genesis 9:13) A covenant that He would never allow another flood to “cut off all flesh,” but as He had promised to Noah, his family and the preserved animals, as they emerged from the ark, “While the earth remaineth seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” “Shall not cease.” That is a promise the climate change “apocolypsians” would do well to embrace even as they would do well to help the world reduce air, water and internet pollution while taking care of their own.
My Bible-guided perception of the world causes me to believe that there was indeed a cataclysmic global flood 4,000-plus years ago that drastically reshaped the topography of this world, burying mountains of vegetation that overheated underground, turning them into vast fields of coal, oil and gas. That the flood – induced rock layers, fossils and ice fields can also be understood through those lens. Is it not ironic that while nuclear destruction capabilities are being eclipsed by the destruction capabilities of AI, the climate-change “elites” are still decrying the natural melting of polar ice caps? The Bible speaks to, and history shows, there being a carnal impulse in the “natural man” to “hog” as much control over this world’s assets as possible. That is one of the reasons for the “Golden Rule.” That we should do to others as we would have them do to us. (Matthew 7:12) Which applies to wokerites, “apocolypsians” and as well, to all of us.
As I stand on the exit threshold of today, gazing through the open door at tomorrow’s world there seem only two options open to us. Become a one-world government with a one-world dictator demanding obeisance from all of this world’s inhabitants (may we be of those giving obeisance to God only, come what may) or to individually and corporately yield to God and His ways.
“Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.” (Hebrew 4:7) Let us yield to God. For keeps.
