God, through His Holy Spirit, desires to put His spiritual mark of ownership upon all, and Jesus gave His life for all, making it all possible. This spiritual mark is received into the inner man by believing on Jesus, the One whom the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit witness of. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36) This spiritual mark of God, the indwelling Holy Spirit, changes the life from the inside out. “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans 8:11)

The devil, on the other hand, being the “god of this world,” (II Corinthians 4:4) of necessity works from the outside in. Through the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, the Enemy of our souls endeavors to captivate the desires of the body, subtly drawing the affection of the heart to the senses of the body, thereby entangling and ensnaring the mind. As these body, soul, and spirit tactics of the devil are from the outside in, should we not expect his mark of ownership to be a mark on the outside, in the physical, material realm? Revelation Chapter 13 refers to the devil’s mark as the number 666, the number of a man; informs us that all who do not receive it will be barred from buying or selling; and warns that all who do receive it will be barred from salvation when Jesus comes. So this warning is nothing to trifle with and seems to refer to a one-world monetary system being enforced through financial pressure.

And Beware. There is a nameless new religion gaining ground. It lacks an organization and it lacks a name, but from this writer’s perspective, is most accurately called “The First Birth Religion;” its first Rule of Conduct being: “It’s right if it makes me feel good.” While the “Hippie Movement” of days gone by, in obvious rebellion against the status quo of the “Great Society” said, “if it feels good, do it,” this new “religion” comes cloaked in religious overtones, speaks of “right” and “wrong” in words sophisticated enough to catch the Biblically unlearned off guard.

If ever there was a need—which there is and always has been—for Bible believing Christians to draw and to stand together forming a Christian Coalition, being a kingdom within a kingdom, that time from all appearances and from Prophecy, is now. May God give wisdom and raise up Christians with the giftings needed to help each other form and lead the Kingdom of God on earth.
